New online digital marketplace brings live inventory, financing, trade-ins and online reservations into one buying experience, with full end-to-end purchasing planned for Phase Two.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL / ACCESS Newswire / August 31, 2026 / HD Trailers, one of the largest independent dealers of heavy-haul trailers in North America, has announced the launch of a new digital marketplace designed specifically for commercial heavy-haul equipment buyers. The platform gives fleet operators, contractors, equipment movers and other commercial buyers a faster, more transparent way to browse live inventory, evaluate equipment, explore financing, submit trade information and reserve trailers online with a deposit.
The launch brings a consumer-style digital buying experience to a highly specialized B2B industry that has traditionally depended on phone calls, emailed specifications and manual back-and-forth between buyers and sales teams. The result is not traditional e-commerce applied to trailers. It is a digital commerce platform designed around the realities of complex commercial equipment transactions.
Through hdtrailers.com, buyers can search continuously updated inventory across a range of heavy-haul configurations, review detailed specifications, request financing, submit information about a trailer they want to trade and place an online deposit to reserve available equipment. HD Trailers serves customers across all 50 states, Canada, Central America, and South America
“Our customers are running businesses. They should not have to spend hours making calls just to find out what equipment is available, what it costs or what their financing options look like. We wanted to make buying heavy-haul equipment easier, faster and more transparent, whether that customer is down the road or across the country. This marketplace is a major step toward giving commercial buyers the kind of digital buying experience they have come to expect everywhere else.” – Robert DiCarlo, President, HD Trailers
BUILT ON HUBSPOT FOR A COMPLEX B2B SALE
The marketplace is built entirely on HubSpot and was architected and built by LevelUp Digital, a Dallas-based digital marketing and mar-tech agency and HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner. LevelUp led the platform strategy, website design and development, CRM architecture, inventory experience, automation and technology connecting HD Trailers’ digital buying journey with its sales operation.
Rather than treating the website and CRM as separate systems, the platform was designed as one connected ecosystem. Inventory activity, buyer intent, financing requests, reservations and sales follow-up can move through the same underlying HubSpot environment, giving HD Trailers a scalable foundation for future phases of digital commerce.
“I have had the opportunity to help build a digital-first marketplace model in the powersports industry, and what excited me about HD Trailers was the opportunity to take those lessons into a completely different category. Commercial equipment is incredibly complex. You are dealing with specialized inventory, financing, trade-ins, multiple buyer types, and a sales process that still needs human expertise. We designed the technology around that reality rather than trying to force a traditional e-commerce model onto it. HubSpot gave us the foundation to connect the website, inventory, CRM, automation and sales experience into one ecosystem.” – Heather Harrington, CEO, LevelUp Digital
Harrington previously served as Chief Digital Officer at RumbleOn, where she led digital strategy, product experience and marketing across a national powersports platform spanning more than 60 dealership locations. Her work included helping build and scale one of the industry’s first end-to-end online powersports marketplaces and shaping the technology, user journeys and digital buying experiences that connected complex vehicle inventory with both online and dealership-assisted sales. That experience directly informed LevelUp’s approach to HD Trailers.
A COLLABORATIVE GO-TO-MARKET FOUNDATION
Orange Marketing, a California-based HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner, has supported HD Trailers with its HubSpot CRM migration, operational setup, and content marketing strategy. As part of this engagement, Orange is developing educational content on steerable axle trailers in collaboration with XL Specialized. Demand for this trailer configuration is increasing as data-center and AI infrastructure projects require the transport of oversized, non-divisible equipment. Orange is also partnering with Kalyn Siebert to develop a series of industry articles for HD Trailers.
“HD Trailers had a clear vision for creating a more modern buying experience, and bringing that vision to market required the technology, CRM and content strategy to work together. We’re excited to keep building on that with content that speaks directly to where this industry is headed, from specialized equipment education to hands-on partnerships across the supply chain.” – Rebecca Gonzalez, CEO, Orange Marketing
WHAT’S NEXT: FULL ONLINE PURCHASING
The launch marks Phase One of HD Trailers’ broader digital commerce roadmap. Buyers can already move through several key steps of the buying process online, from finding and comparing equipment to exploring financing, submitting a trade and reserving a trailer with a deposit. Phase Two is already in development and is expected to roll out in the coming months, introducing full end-to-end online purchasing so commercial buyers can complete an entire trailer transaction digitally. The long-term vision is to bring the kind of streamlined, digital-first buying experience popularized by automotive marketplaces like Carvana to the commercial trailer industry.
Future development is also planned around features designed specifically for commercial equipment buyers, including an online marketplace for heavy-haul trailer parts and components and streamlined financing and pre-qualification capabilities.
“This is just Phase One. Customers can already find the right trailer, explore financing, submit a trade and reserve equipment online with a deposit. Phase Two will take that experience even further by allowing buyers to complete the entire purchase digitally. Our goal is to make buying commercial equipment simple, without taking away the expertise and personal service our customers rely on.” – Robert DiCarlo, President, HD Trailers
