The company notes that its automatic car starter installations are now available for a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including push-to-start vehicles, diesel engines, and manual transmissions — vehicle types that many competing installers decline to service.
TAS Electronics installs a Compustar remote starter paired with a Drone Mobile module directly into the customer’s vehicle. Once configured, the system provides remote start and stop through a smartphone application, real-time GPS vehicle tracking, two-way status alerts for events such as door-ajar notifications, engine temperature changes, and security triggers, as well as remote lock and unlock capability. Optional add-ons include trunk release, panic button, and driver’s door priority unlock. Installation is performed without cutting any factory wires, preserving the original vehicle integrity, and most installations are completed the same day.

For drivers who prefer not to carry an additional remote, TAS Electronics also offers Compustar DCX installations that integrate directly with the vehicle’s existing factory key fob or smart key. A triple-press of the lock button activates remote start without requiring any additional hardware.
