Webster Bank Implements Prolific Banking’s FI-Streams Connector to Enable Commercial Client Financial Data Connectivity

Webster Bank is now live on Prolific Banking’s FI-Streams Connector, leveraging Plaid’s FDX-aligned API specification, Core Exchange, to enhance financial data connectivity, enabling secure access to business customer account information, transaction history, and authentication features. The FI-Streams integration with Plaid’s Core Exchange gives customers of Webster Bank access to Plaid’s network of apps and services, including accounting platforms, treasury management tools, and personal financial management apps. This implementation provides commercial customers with a seamless, secure experience when linking their accounts to third-party financial applications. In addition, the implementation includes synchronization with the bank’s digital banking platform for account entitlements and user authorization.
