The law firm of Skiermont Derby LLP has announced that two new partners have joined the Dallas office of the elite litigation boutique.
Bradley D. Liddle and Michael C. Pomeroy both most recently practiced in the Dallas office of Cozen O’Connor and each offer a diverse background and extensive experience in intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Mr. Liddle focuses on all stages of patent litigation, including Inter Partes Review proceedings. He also counsels clients on patent licensing and infringement analysis, as well as portfolio management, valuation, acquisition, and the identification of IP investment opportunities. In addition to his work in private practice, Mr. Liddle ran a multimillion-dollar patent licensing company, successfully licensing dozens of companies to its portfolio. He began his legal career in patent litigation at a boutique firm in Houston.
Mr. Pomeroy is a registered patent attorney who has represented clients at the District Court, as well as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and in appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. This includes counseling plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets in all phases of litigation, including multiple trials. Mr. Pomeroy also has experience in Inter Partes Review practice in front of the PTAB.
Mr. Liddle earned his law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2010 and his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M. Prior to law school he worked as an engineer at Boeing, supporting the International Space Station program.
Mr. Pomeroy earned his law degree with honors from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2017. He also holds both a master’s degree and an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas. He has been recognized among the top 100 PTAB attorneys in the country for two consecutive years through peer review journals, including a distinction as a top 10 PTAB attorney for patent owners based upon his success record in 2024.
